Annual East High Alumni Association Dinner and Reunion

15-Year Reunion Recap:

Eastside Night kicked the weekend off as only Eastside Night can! Many Class of 1995 grads met at the fair for great food, drinks, and friends. The Depot seemed to be the place to find 1995 grads and many were in attendance.

Saturday night found approximately 41 Class of 1995 graduates at Legends in Pleasant Hill. Again, great food, drinks, and friends met for a casual evening of catching up. The night ended with kareoke where we were sarenaded by many East High grads from our class as well as those from earlier and later classes. Such performances as the one by Danger Boy and our own Stacie Shelton to the theme song from Titanic will not be soon forgotten.

It was wonderful to see everyone and we are now looking forward to our 20-year reunion and seeing everyone again and hopefully those we missed this year!

10-Year Reunion Recap:

Even with the heat, many alumni came to the reunion to reunite with old friends, get aquainted with those that they hadn't a chance to in the past, and to have a good time. Each alumnus checked into the event and received a reunion t-shirt and a current yearbook along with their name tag and meal tickets.

Bo James was a terrific D.J. with wonderful mix of 90's music with the emphasis on 1995. Bo was even able to locate and play the dance songs of our senior year such as The Sweetest Days and Lady in Red

A fabulous dinner spread of hamburgers,
hotdogs, potato salad, fruit salad, baked beans, and dessert bars were provided by The Great Caterers of Iowa.

Even with the reunion at an end, several people headed out to continue the fun at various locations and we received many requests for future reunions. All-in-all it
turned out to be a great time for everyone that was able to attend.
